Two-Week Closure for Schutte Road Expected to begin Monday, May 19

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – A temporary closure of Schutte Road, from north of the Lloyd Expressway to near West Terrace General Baptist Church, is expected to begin Monday, May 19.

The 14-day closure of Schutte Road is expected to last through the Memorial Day weekend. Motorists should plan ahead and leave extra time to reach their destinations.

Closures at Schutte and McDowell are part of the preparation for a system of restricted access U-turns. Once complete, the intersections will provide a safer and more efficient Lloyd4U.
