EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Keep an eye on traffic signs on the Lloyd Expressway between Boeke Road and Green River Road next week. Beginning on or after Tuesday, May 13, crews will shift traffic to newly built sections to complete work on the outside of the roadway. Two lanes of travel in each direction will remain open during the new traffic phase.

The traffic shift will mark the final phases of construction at Stockwell and the Lloyd Expressway. The new displaced left turn / boulevard left turn intersection will open this summer. Visit the project website for to learn more about the intersection design.

Access to and from Vann Avenue and Stockwell Road will be maintained during construction, but there will be no left turn for westbound Lloyd to southbound Stockwell. Division Street will remain closed throughout the duration of this phase.
