EVANSVILLE, Ind. – A temporary lane closure near Stockwell Road will begin on or after Monday, July 8th and run through the afternoon of July 10th.

The westbound lane closure will begin just east of the D-Partick Honda Dealership on State Road 66 (Lloyd Expressway). Motorists using the left lane will need to slow down and merge into the center lane briefly, before merging back into the left lane and follow the construction barrels and signs.

We encourage all motorists traveling through the area to slow down, observe markings and signs through the work zone and utilize the zipper merge technique to get through the work zone safely.

The closure is needed for utility work in advance of Lloyd4U construction at the intersection. One westbound lane will be closed while crews identify gas main depths. Expect delays during peak times and be alert to signs guiding vehicles to merge.
