The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is asking motorists to be alert and take extra care and precaution when driving the Lloyd Expressway for the next few weeks. In preparation for the upgrades and improvements to the Lloyd Expressway known as TheLloyd4U project, utility locators and geotech investigators will be working up and down the Lloyd from one end of the county to the other.

Their work will take place on the shoulders and within lanes of the road. To accommodate their work and provide for their safety, there will periodically be temporary lane closures along the Lloyd. The closures are for short intervals. INDOT asks that motorists stay alert and help keep the crew safe so they can quickly do their work.
