Lloyd4U: Upcoming West Side shift means new traffic pattern

Upcoming West Side shift means new traffic pattern

The westbound bridges over Tekoppel, the railway, and Carpentier Creek are complete. It’s time for a traffic switch!

In the fall, traffic west of Boehne Camp Road was shifted from what we traditionally think of as the eastbound lanes to the westbound lanes so construction could begin on the south side of the facility.

Now, the same shift will happen throughout the remainder of the west side project area.

As early as the week of January 5, traffic from Barker Avenue to Boehne Camp Road will also make the shift. Eastbound and westbound traffic will share the north side of the Lloyd, while the south will be closed.

Southbound drivers heading westbound, take notice! Use caution and look for westbound traffic before turning right. Most other movements will be signalized.

The switch impacts the intersections of Rosenberger at the Lloyd and Red Bank at the Lloyd as shown below.
