Lane Shift at Burkhardt, Cross Pointe

We’ve reached a milestone for the east side projects! Construction is moving to Phase 2, which means a new traffic pattern. Weather permitting, after the Monday, December 15 morning rush hour, westbound traffic will move to the two outside lanes. This configuration will be in place for at least six months.

This switch allows construction to shift to a new portion of the project. The intersection projects remain on schedule with an anticipated completion later in 2026.

The eastbound lanes of the Lloyd near the Burkhardt and Cross Pointe intersections will switch to Phase 2 sometime after the first of the year.

As with any major traffic switch, motorists should expect added delays during the first several days as drivers adjust to the new pattern. Please plan extra travel time, reduce your speed, and remember: #buckleup and #phonesdown.
