Lloyd improvements expected after Memorial Day Weekend.

Lane closure planned for State Road 62 in Vanderburgh County

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces single-lane closures on State Road 62 in Vanderburgh County for shoulder strengthening as part of the Lloyd4U project.

Beginning on or after Tuesday, May 28, crews will begin lane closures on eastbound S.R. 62 from the Posey County Line Road to Schutte Road.

Crews will reinforce the outside shoulders with fresh pavement along S.R. 62 to accommodate future Lloyd4U traffic shifts. Shoulder strengthening will occur in two-mile sections as work progresses eastward to Barker Avenue. This phase of work is expected to take a month to complete, weather permitting.
