Flagging Operation to begin mid-morning on the Lloyd Expressway

Rosenberger signal to be moved ahead of Lloyd4U construction

EVANSVILLE, Ind. –Construction crews expect to conduct a flagging operation on the Lloyd Expressway beginning shortly after the morning rush hour on Wednesday, August 7 near Rosenberger Avenue for traffic signal relocation.

To make way for Lloyd4U construction, crews will need to move one of the Rosenberger Avenue traffic signal poles and lay temporary pavement in the corner of the intersection. The new pavement will accommodate future traffic shifts and provide northbound Rosenberger Avenue traffic more room to turn east on the Lloyd Expressway.

The work is only anticipated to take a couple of hours and is expected to conclude ahead of the evening rush hour.

Motorists can expect to see a law enforcement officer and construction crew members out directing traffic during the short-term closure.
