New ramp configuration to take 30 days
On or after Thursday, March 19, the southbound I-69 exit ramp to westbound Lloyd Expressway will be closed for an anticipated 30 calendar days for completion of the new ramp configuration.
All four cloverleaf ramps will be open during this period for regular traffic. However, motorists will be directed to use three of the cloverleaf ramps for the recommended detour as indicated on the map. The detour route will be marked with signage.
Motorists who want to travel westbound on the Lloyd from southbound I-69 should take the southwest cloverleaf ramp to exit onto eastbound Lloyd and stay right. Proceed to the southeast cloverleaf ramp and then temporarily enter I-69 north. Crossing over the Lloyd from above, stay right to access the northeast cloverleaf ramp and access westbound Lloyd.
The new ramp alignment from I-69 to Lloyd will be opened to traffic on or after the morning of Saturday, April 18, 2026, weather permitting. Continue to watch the Lloyd4U website and social media for progress updates.

Traffic Alert: McDowell Road Reminder
Just a reminder to motorists on McDowell Road to be mindful that they must yield to two-way traffic on the Lloyd. Stop signs are on both sides of McDowell Road in addition to the median.
A temporary signal is controlling one-way traffic flow on a short stretch of McDowell south of the Lloyd. That signal does not control eastbound or westbound traffic on the Lloyd.
Remember: Use the stop signs only and look both ways before crossing the Lloyd or making a turn onto the Lloyd.
During construction:
✅ Plan ahead
